Your donation tax receipt may differ from the final amount deposited into the fund. You may notice a difference in the amount on your donation tax receipt and the final amount deposited into the fund. This is usually due to market fluctuations between the time your financial advisor transfers the securities to our account and the time the securities are sold. We do our best to minimize this difference in value by selling any gifts of securities as soon as possible.

Note that it is very difficult to transfer securities in the last weeks of December. Also, some securities can take several months to transfer depending on the complexity of the gift. Please avoid this risk by planning your gift well in advance.
